It was built on a career spent at the intersection of technology and operations — not in advisory roles removed from execution, but embedded in the work itself. Designing AI systems, leading digital transformations, and building technical capabilities inside organizations ranging from mid-market manufacturers to global enterprises.
That experience shapes everything. Conrad Tucker brings an uncommon combination of deep technical expertise and executive-level strategic experience to every engagement. His background spans mechanical engineering, industrial systems, machine learning, and business strategy — built over two decades of research, applied work, and leadership at the intersection of AI and complex operations.
Conrad holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an MBA from the same institution, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. His research and applied work has focused on the design and optimization of complex systems through large-scale data acquisition, integration, and analysis — with particular emphasis on AI, machine learning, robotics, and cyber-physical systems.
His work has been supported by some of the most rigorous funding bodies in the country, including the National Science Foundation, DARPA, the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, the Army Research Laboratory, and the Office of Naval Research. That track record reflects not just technical credibility, but the ability to frame hard problems clearly and execute against them with discipline.
Conrad has led technology initiatives at scale — including serving in a senior academic leadership role overseeing a major international technology and engineering program — and has advised organizations on AI strategy, emerging technology evaluation, and the translation of technical complexity into executive and board-level decisions.
